Cartilage piercings are such a fun and cute way of showing off your individual style. Add unique and mismatched pieces to your ears to inject a little something extra into your daily outfits and allow your imagination to run wild! Begin curating your ears with our stunning range of cartilage jewellery. Not sure where to start? Here’s a quick guide to get you started when you’re ready to change out that piercing!

What is a cartilage piercing?

Cartilage is a connective tissue that is found in different parts of the body but mostly the nose and ears. It’s softer than bone but harder than skin. When your piercer pierces this part of your body it is then known as a cartilage piercing.

Our cartilage piercings are suitable for the Tragus, Anti-Tragus, Helix, Forward Helix, Conch, Lobe and Upper Lobe. They are made of 9ct gold which makes them perfect for everyday wear, you can leave them in your ear without having to worry about them changing colour or causing irritation. Irritation and reactions are usually caused by wearing cheap jewellery which then can cause more problems in the long run, so it’s always a good idea to invest in good quality gold when you can.

Our cartilage studs come in either 6mm or 8.5mm lengths. Ask your piercer what size they used to pierce each part of your ear to know which length is suitable. A twist off ball backing is used for great security too and is super comfortable to wear!

Cartilage piercings are so on trend at the moment. One trend I’m really here for is the constellation ear. This consists of sparkly star shaped piercings going from the earlobe up to the helix, imitating the night sky. It looks stunning and definitely eye-catching!
