As each year goes by mens engagement rings are becoming increasingly popular. When buying an engagement ring for that man in your life try to think of his style, does he enjoy things that are a bit flashy, maybe more minimalistic or enjoys a classic look? Getting a feel for their style is always a good starting point.
Think about the future wedding ring too. Traditionally both the engagement ring and wedding ring are worn together on the left hand so take that into account before you buy a super wide ring.
Three Line 4mm Ring 18ct White Gold - €1,300
Plain, diamonds or gemstones? You don't have to go for diamonds when buying an engagement ring but there are some diamond options, as well as gemstones like Onyx and Bloodstone for that pop of colour.
Think of the metals! What colour do you think he will prefer? Gold and white gold are popular metal options for men, but palladium and platinum rings are harder wearing and more durable so would suit men that work with their hands. You can also go for two-toned rings if you can’t decide on the one colour!
