If you wish to return goods bought from us, please contact us either by phone or email (01-8148914 or diamonds@gearjewellers.ie). For a full refund, goods must be returned in unworn and in pristine condition along with any packaging/box and receipt (Realex invoice) within 14 days of purchase.

You can return an item in person to us here at our shop located at Greeg Court, Parnell Street, Dublin 1, however we will apply the refund by the original method of payment.

All items sold by Gear Jewellers come with a limited warranty, which covers any manufacturing defects. All of our jewellery is made to a very high standard and any wear and tear or damage after delivery is the customer's responsibility. Any work carried out on the item by a third party will invalidate your guarantee.

Contact us immediately, if at any time your diamond becomes loose so that we can advise you accordingly. We strongly recommend that you fully insure your diamond jewellery with your home insurance company, as loss of any items does not fall under the Gear Jewellers warranty.

 

• We can't accept returned pierced earrings, this is for hygiene reasons
• Any item that has been worn or shows any signs of wear, cannot be accepted as a return, unless the item has been found to be defective

Our refund policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Items are charged at the price shown on the date you place your order. However, Gear Jewellers reserves the right to amend prices at any time due to fluctuations in the metal markets etc.

We never hold your credit or debit card details at our office or on any of our computer systems. However, in the absence of any negligence on our part, we cannot be held legally responsible for any loss you may experience if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering goods from the Gear Jewellers website. Do not send your credit card information via email, as we cannot accept this method of payment.

Gear Jewellers expect to ship your order within 24 hours if the item is in stock from the date of receipt of order, however if the item is out of stock we aim to ship to you within 10 days. If your order is going to take more than 15 days, we will contact you immediately with an estimated delivery date, and you will have the right to change your order or cancel.

 

For items qualifying for free delivery, this is by registered postage to anywhere in the country. A Signature is required. If you require item to be sent by courier we can provide this service for a small fee.

All of our handmade Diamond Rings come with an Individual Gear Jewellers Valuation Report.

Most Diamonds over 0.50ct. come with an additional independent Certificate from a recognised Gemological institution. These can vary between GIA, IGI, HRD and others.
